Clair LuAnn Minihan, twin infant daughter of Timothy Peter and Valerie LuAnn (Larson) Minihan, was born December 6, 1994 at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. She died on Sunday, December 11, 1994 at the hospital in Sioux Falls. Grateful for having shared her brief life are her parents, Tim and Val Minihan, Sioux Falls, SD; her brother, Marty William Minihan, Sioux Falls, SD; her 3 sisters, Jennie Louise Minihan, at home, Shannon Leone Minihan, at home, her twin sister, Ellen Marie Minihan, at home; her grandparents, Carl and Linda Larson, Jr., Bill & Pat Minihan, Canton, SD; her great grandparents, Carl and Ellen Larson, Sr., Canton, SD, Pete Dougherty, Elander, IA; aunts and uncles, Shawn and Erin McCarty, Sioux Falls, SD, Mike and Theresa Minihan, Blue Rapids, KS, Pat and Missy Minihan, Canton, SD, Andy Minihan, Vermillion, SD, Bernard and Molly Wiley, Canton, SD, Karla Larson, Norman, OK, Dan Larson, Renner, SD, Jarad Larson, Kansas City, MO; many cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mass of the Angels will begin at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at St. Therese Catholic Church in Sioux Falls, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery in Canton (Clair's grave was subsequently moved to Beaver Valley Lutheran Cemetery in 2008 near her sister, Jennie). Visitation will be from 11 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. today at George Boom Funeral Home. Visitation will also be from 7 to 9 P.M. today at the church. Scripture services will begin at 7:30 P.M. today at the church. Lunch and fellowship will be held at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Canton, following the committal service.
