Florence Bendt Winter Rommereim, 90, died Wednesday, November 28, 2007. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 4 at Minnehaha Funeral Home Chapel, Dell Rapids, S.D., with Rev. Timothy Rynearson officiating. Casket bearers were Gaylon Trygstad, Mark Krogh, Merle Wenge and Dale Berkland. Interment was in Romsdal Cemetery, Beresford, S.D. Florence was born Sept. 17, 1917 in Trosky to parents Ernest and Minnie (Harloff) Bendt. She married Henry Winter on Sept. 9, 1936. He died July 22, 1941 as a result of an automobile accident. Florence then married Richard Rommereim on Jan. 1, 1945. He died March 31, 1980. She is survived by her children, Delmar Winter, Mesa, Ariz.; Dian (Jerry) Loof, Sunset, Utah; Roger (DeAnn) Rommereim, Lancaster, Calif.; Ardell Breen, Ventura, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
