On Wednesday, May 18, at 9:00 o'clock services consisted of a requiem high mass beautifully sung by the choir and Father Roche, who concluded services with a very impressive and consoling sermon. Members of the parish court of C.D. of A. paid their last respect by marching in a group. Interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Francis Fitzgerald, John and Joe Klein, John Mousel, Frank Ginsbach and Nick Penning.

Mrs. Broghammer was a charter member of the Court Sancta Maria of the C.D. of A. and loyal member of the St. Mary's Altar society. She was a true Christian mother and a dependable friend. She was highly esteemed for her unselfish personality, charitableness, patience and kindness and will long be remembered by those who knew her.
