Body of Former Resident Brought Back for Burial

Mrs. Fannie Eppard Died Tuesday at Her home in Davenport, Ia.; Funeral Here Friday

Mrs. Fannie Eppard died Tuesday morning at the home of her niece Mrs. Fannie Rowser, in Davenport, Iowa.

Mrs. Eppard was taken ill November 11th with heart trouble and December 15th had a stroke. She recovered sufficiently to talk, but death came six weeks later. She was 84 years old.

Mrs. Eppard was a resident of Dell Rapids for a number of years and had many friends among the older residents here. She was a member of the Methodist church. She came here about 42 years ago, going to Iowa a few years ago where she has since made her home.

The funeral will be held at the Methodist church Friday morning at 10:30, with Rev. Wendell A. Johnson in charge of the services. Burial will be held in the Dell Rapids Cemetery by the side of her husband.
